All in-processing Soldiers with EFMP
enrolled family members are asked to contact the EFMP Manager for referrals to
community support services. EFMP enrollment and re-enrollment is done at the
Kirk Health Clinic in Patient Administration. If there is an EFMP housing issue
that will involve and exception to policy, those are also handled at Kirk.)at
410-278-2420.
Maryland Infants and Toddlers Program
has early intervention services (special education, physical, occupational anD
speech therapy) for children from birth to age 3 with disabilities and/or
developmental delay who qualify for the program. They are located at
the John Archer School.
Child Find Program, early
interventions services (special education, physical, occupational and speech
therapy) for children ages 3-5 with disabilities and/or developmental delay who
qualify for the program.
Harford County
Parent/Educator Information and Training Center helps parents get involved with
their child's education through information and training about special education
services and the Admission, Dismissal, Review (ARD)
process.
The Women, Infants and Children
Supplemental Food Program (WIC) is available on Aberdeen Proving Ground and in
Aberdeen.
The Supplemental Security
Income program provides financial assistance to disabled adults and children who
qualify. The Department of social Services provides food stams for qualified
individuals.
Northern Maryland Association for
Retarded Citizens/ Developmental Disabilities Administration provides assistance
and support to parents and children with wide variety of developmental
disabilities.
