Aberdeen Proving Ground has one hospital
and one dental clinic. There is a Troop Medical Clinic on Edgewood,
but there are no currently no dental facilities.
The Walter Reed Health Care System provides health
care for more than 150,000 Soldiers, other service members, family members, and
retirees in the National Capital Area. It's hub is the Walter Reed
Army Medical Center. The system includes 10 major treatment
facilities in the tri-state area, including Kirk Army Medical Center located on
Aberdeen Proving Ground.
Women, Infants, and
Children (WIC) is a federally funded program that provides healthy foods and
nutrition counseling to pregnant women and mothers with children under the age
of five. If you are eligible, you will receive nutrition information,
referral to other services, and checks to purchase food such as milk, formula,
juice, and cereal.
